Tugas 1 (TENSES)

Definition Tenses
In grammar, tense means time. The tense of a verb indicates the time of the action or the time of the state of condition .  The time is not always the same as that indicated by the name of the tense. The time tell you when the action happened, either in the past, in the present, or in the future.


  1. Simple present tense     : My uncle go to office
  2. Simple past tense          : My uncle went to the office
  3. Simple future tense       : My uncle will go to the office
  4. Present continues tense : My uncle is going to the office
  5. Past continues tense      : My uncle was going to the office
  6. Future continues tense  : My uncle will be going to the office
  7. Present perfect tense     : My uncle has gone to the office
  8. Past perfect tense          : My uncle had gone to the office
  9. Future perfect tense      : My uncle will have gone to the office

  2. Simple past tense          : Sarah ate some snack
  3. Simple future tense       : Sarah will eat some snack
  4. Present continues tense : Sarah is eating some snack
  5. Past continues tense      : Sarah was eating some snack

  7. Present perfect tense     : Sarah has eaten some snack
  8. Past perfect tense          : Sarah had eaten some snack
  9. Future perfect tense      : Sarah will have eaten some snack

  9.  Future perfect tense      : I told him my addres after he will have me twice
